Social Enterprise
From January 1st 2007 individuals and groups in the Bexhill and Hastings area will be able to call upon the services of Clive Mills, the new social enterprise development officer who will be based in the offices of the Bexhill Community Partnership in Bexhill and Hastings Trust in Hastings.
The two-year post is funded under the governement's LEGI programme and is aimed at helping stimulate a culture of enterprise in communities in the Hastings and Bexhill area.

The data shows that there is an overall decrease in Rother's overall IMD Ranking. This may suggest an increase in deprivation in Rother and/or Rother slipping behind other areas in economic growth and social investment. This is particularly noticeable in large parts of Bexhill and Eastern Rother (Rye).
