Grants of up to £30,000 could be given to good causes courtesy of Rother District Council's community grants scheme.
Organisations can apply to fund facilities and activities which aim to support the Rother community. Examples could include playgrounds, art projects, community transport and village halls. Grant applications will be considered by a panel of Council officers, lead cabinet members and, depending on the application,
representatives from Rother Voluntary Action and Action in Rural Sussex. For more information on the sort of schemes eligible for grant funding and the application criteria, contact Scott Lavocah at scott.lavocah@rother.gov.uk or call 01424 787863.
